Julia Quissak is a music therapist, music teacher and holistic therapist.

Influenced by her grandparents, she always had a brush, canvas and paints close to her hands. He won a recorder and an antique piano in his childhood and since then he has been enchanted by the world of sounds and colors. He started his musical studies with piano and guitar teachers at 14. He joined the School of Music at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, where he graduated in music therapy (2015) and began his studies in harp with Marcelo Penido (2013).

During his graduation, he attended institutions with diverse clinical demands, whose main focus was on neurological rehabilitation in a clinical population that included premature babies to elderly people with advanced age. She also researched and published about Harps in music therapy, participated in choirs and worked as a music teacher in projects in the State of Minas Gerais.

He completed the harp therapy course affiliated to the International Harp Therapy Program, taught by Cláudia Miranda (music therapist, architect and practitioner of harp therapy), where she did some volunteer work playing the harp in nurseries, shelters, nursing homes and hospitals.

He completed his first training as a holistic therapist, taught at the Holistic University of Brazil and later deepened in Ayurvedic Massage and Reiki.

She was a Celtic harp teacher at the Integrated Music Center and harp monitor at the UFMG School of Music, where she carried out projects and helped organize events with harpists from around the world.

Participated in Masterclasses classes with harpists with different perspectives, such as Susana Bertuccioli (Italy - pedal harp), Isabelle Moretti (France - pedal harp), Baltazar Juárez (Mexico - pedal harp), Gianetta Baril (Canada - pedal harp) , Christina Tourin (United States-harp therapy and celtic harp), Patrice Fisher (celtic harp), Chantal Mathieu (France / Switzerland - pedal harp), Elisa Torres (Puerto Rico- pedal harp), Sasha Boldachev (Russia / Switzerland- Pedal harp) and Cristina Braga (Rio de Janeiro - popular music on the pedal harp).

He lived in Ireland, where he can experience and get to know Irish culture and the wisdom left by the Celts more closely and since then he has tried to bring some of that knowledge to his patients and students in the smallest details.

Currently lives in Brazil, where he attends and teaches looking to do a transdisciplinary work, enriching his classes and attendance with educational, music-therapeutic, holistic and technical knowledge.
